Slater and Gordon Lawyers renew partnership with Embrace and become members of the charities Law Firm Partnership

Embrace and Slater and Gordon Lawyers UK are proud to announce a renewed partnership with Slater and Gordon becoming one of the first legal panel members of the Embrace Law Firms Partnership.

Embrace helps families who have endured distressing crimes, including domestic violence, sexual abuse and neglect, deaths of parents, siblings or other close family members.

Slater and Gordon will work closely with the charity to ensure those who require the charities services are provided expert legal support enabling them to have access to lawyers who can provide advice and guidance.

Emma Fleming, Head of Income Generation and Communications at Embrace said: “We are thrilled that Slater and Gordon have agreed to be one of the inaugural members of the Embrace Law Firms Partnership. Slater and Gordon have been a huge support of Embrace for a number of years and their experience and dedication to ensure children, young people and families receive the justice they deserve aligns perfectly with our mission.

Together, we are able to offer an enhanced support package to the families we serve, empowering them to navigate the complexities of the legal system at a traumatic time in their lives.”

Kim Harrison, Head of Operations, Abuse and Public Inquiries at Slater and Gordon said: “The work that Embrace does is incredibly important in supporting children. Often the implications crime can have on young lives, even if they are not directly involved, can have long-lasting effects through to adulthood. By working with Embrace, we hope to be able to provide much needed support.”

Whether someone is a young person looking for help or a parent or professional seeking help for a young person or family who are struggling, both Embrace and Slater and Gordon are here to support.

Shane Smith, Associate, Abuse and Public Inquiries at Slater and Gordon said: “We work with children and young people who have suffered unimaginable trauma due to crime and have seen firsthand the impact this can have on individuals and their families. We are passionate about supporting those affected and our partnership with Embrace will allow us to take this one step further to support child victims of crime.”

The work that Embrace does is imperative, and both the charity Embrace and Slater and Gordon are thrilled to be taking this journey together once again.
