The central London Half Marathon, takes in some of the capital’s world-famous landmarks on closed roads, and four of London’s eight Royal Parks – Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.

All money raised will help us deliver vital support to children across the UK impacted by serious crime access to counselling, practical support and well-being activities.

This year, 4 members of the team are from Bedfordshire Police, which has raised more than £100,000 for Embrace in recent years. We reinvest these funds to help child victims of crime in the county.

Dani Bailey, a Detective Inspector for Bedfordshire Police said: “I am really looking forward to running alongside my colleagues from Bedfordshire Police, it is great to see such support from our force this year with many hundreds of pounds raised for this extremely worthy cause.”

With more than 16,000 runners expected to take part in this years Royal Parks Half Marathon – our team will definitely receive lots of support along the way. Embrace will also be hosting a hospitality stand after to race to welcome our team home.

Chief Executive Anne Campbell said: “We are truly grateful to all of our fund-raisers who are now in serious training to complete this iconic race. We’ll be there to cheer them on along the way and to celebrate their success – please take the time to read their stories and support their efforts.”
