The opportunity to nominate a child victim of crime for our Dear Santa appeal closes at 12 noon today, Monday December 10.
The deadline is to allow sufficient time for children’s gifts to be purchased, delivered to Embrace for wrapping and redelivered to the family in time for Christmas Day.
To date the campaign has recorded 1,000 referrals, from police and other agencies, to fund gifts of choice for children in all parts of the UK affected by serious crimes including homicide, sexual abuse, domestic violence and neglect.
The gifts are waiting to be purchased on our unique Amazon Smile wish-lists for the North, Scotland and Northern Ireland, Midlands and Wales, South and Channels Islands.
It is requested that all referrals at this stage include full details of the gift requested, any single gift worth up to £50 from Amazon or a voucher (£25 age 0 – 5 £30 6 – 18).
