Dear Santa 2019 – BIG WRAP

Embrace Child Victims of Crime CVoC are seeking volunteers to get involved with our seasonal fund-raising appeal, Dear Santa 2019 at our HQ in Peterborough.

Join us for the #BIGWRAP on Thursday 28 November from 10.30 – 12.30 to help gift wrap long-for Christmas presents for children that have been affected by serious crime.

National children’s charity Embrace CVoC delivers trauma-management support and other help services to young people affected by serious crime in the UK, the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.

‘Dear Santa’ is our seasonal fund-raising initiative designed to buy gifts for such children from low income families to help brighten their Christmas and to extend Embrace’s services.

The children, nominated by a police officer/safeguarding workers, choose their own gift (worth up to £50) which donors then buy directly from a unique Amazon wish-list.

To protect the identity of individual’s nominated, purchased gifts must be delivered to our central holding location to allow for wrapping and onwards delivery by Embrace staff and volunteers.


– Volunteers to be available to help Embrace staff gift wrap presents on selected dates and times.

What Embrace can offer

– Single point of contact to manage logistics, queries and issues.

– Regular wrapping sessions to manage stock.

– Promotion of company support across our owned/earned channels.

– A guaranteed warm and fuzzy-feeling for staff/volunteers who support the appeal.
