Practical Support

Tailored practical support where it's needed

Many families we support are doubly disadvantaged  – struggling to cope with the after effects of their experiences and living in poverty.

We provide fully flexible support to young victims and witnesses to crime to help them and their families rebuild their lives. From food and clothing vouchers to school equipment, toys and mobile phones we provide what you need to put your life back on track.

Alfie’s Hardship Fund

Alfie’s Hardship Fund was set up at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic to help families harmed by crime and struggling financially because of the lockdown restriction. It was so successful it is now a permanent service offering every day essentials to families who need a little help to get back on their feet.

Theme park days out

Thanks to our partnership with Merlin’s Magic Wand Children’s Charity we can offer days out to Alton Towers, Legoland resorts, Chessington World of Adventure, Sealife Centres and many more. We aim to help families who have been affected by serious crimes to make new happy memories together.

Short breaks

Thanks to our partnership with The Principle Trust Children’s Charity we can offer families harmed by crime the chance to get away and spend quality time together to help heal their trauma.

Christmas gifts

Dear Santa is our annual Christmas campaign to provide gifts of choice to children harmed by crime. Last year we provided gifts for almost 1,900  children and families to ensure they had something to open from Santa on Christmas Day.

Toy Bank

Our Toy Bank provides new toys and gifts to children and young people harmed by crime.  You can fund out more about our sponsorship packages for Alfie’s Toy Bank here
