Everything stops for tea, or so the words of the famous song lead us to believe.
Now, Embrace is helping to make the afternoon tea break more interesting by encouraging those who like a cuppa to join in our latest fundraising initiative called T@3.
The only national children’s charity which is focused on supporting children harmed by crime, Embrace CVoC has created everything you need to host a successful afternoon tea party and raise much -needed funds.
We’ve even prepared our own recipe cards so you can bake some yummy creations to eat or sell!
Says CEO Anne Campbell: “So many people ask us how they can help us fundraise and T@3 was created in response to those who are desperately keen to help but don’t necessarily want to run or take part in our charity challenges.
“Anyone can organise a tea party – for their friends, for their colleagues, in aid of a birthday or just to have fun. Visit our website for some ideas of how you can make it go with a swing, including some delicious recipes for a sugar boost too.”
Embrace’s first T@3 takes place on Thursday 19th March (but you can host yours whenever you want) and it couldn’t be easier to get involved. All you need to do is bring your community together, whether it’s friends, family, colleagues or others and raise money for Embrace CVoC.
Embrace CVoC is entirely funded by donations and grants and we simply could not do the work we do without fundraising support We are the only national charity solely focused on helping children and young people recover from serious crime.
We offer a range of therapeutic support for children and their immediate families to help them cope and move on from life-changing trauma.
With the right intervention, children affected by crime can be empowered to fulfil their potential and go on to lead productive, healthy and happy lives.
